Patrick Wensink and Jack Daniel’s Cease-And-Desist ‘Happy Ending’

This is great… we’ve never seen both sides come out looking good after a cease-and-desist letter. Makes us want to buy Wensink’s new book a healthy dose of Jack.

His book is like 3 novels wrapped into one, a kind of layered gordita structure about drinking, rock and corporate rivalry. It is very humorous dark comedy. Patrick Trotti at JMWW reviewed it stating:

“His voice is so distinct, so utterly unique that it caused me to rethink an entire genre of writing. Some call it satire, others absurdist, whatever it is, I loved it. I found it freeing somehow, giving me the room to inhabit the story, to project my own whiskey induced memories, and the opportunity to be with his cast of crazy characters for a roller coast of a ride.”
